Here are some updates in no particular order:
1. PSR is over! We had the May crowining and classes are done! I think I am taking off next year and then maybe coming back when Owen will be in first grade (we'll see). I definitely have to figure some things out.
2. There are 4 more temps at work. We'll see what happens, but they all seem nice... although I am not wanting to make a lot of friends with anyone there in case things change again. Honestly, I have seen better numbers since they let the others go, but I'm still not doing as well as I would like. I'm just going to continue to be as awesome as I can until they say that I'm done.
3. My grandpap is no longer on feeding tubes and he is doing better (continue to keep him in your prayers for many reasons).
4. They are re-paving our street, but it looks like the rain hasn't hindered them too much.... which is good because I want to be able to park in our spots.
5. I am crafting it up like nobody's business when it comes to things for tea parties....(pinterest is both one of the greatest and worst things for me!). I gorilla glued (most awesome glue ever!) some goodwill finds together and can't wait until I can use them. However, the over ambitious me also got a cheap chandelier - less than $5 - that I am totally going to repurpose..... and it's sitting right in the living room taunting me.
6. Probably about 2 weekends ago, I planted some flowers outside. We also put down some grass seed b/c we get nothing but mud in between our paving stones because our yard is mainly moss instead of grass. There's also a large mud patch now in the center of the yard b/c it gets torn up by the mower who mows our non-existant grass. Some of the grass between the stones has started to come up which is nice, but in patches. I think I'm going to get one more thing of grass seed and put it down. I also want to get some medium sized rocks to put down around our mulch. After that, some glow in the dark paint so I can paint the rocks and the wooden fences so that we have a cool lit path. We'll see.
So on a whole I've been rather stressed, but taking it out on random projects. My most recent one is purging my clothing - got rid of a lot of items I don't wear. Next I will probably purge other items that I own (probably that box of crafting stuff in my closet needs to be used or gotten rid of). Then I'll probably go through all my papers. It's a large scale spring cleaning. Hopefully it will help work out some of my frustrations.
Prayers going out to everyone!
I just planted flowers in my flower bucket I got last year. Nothing compared to my flower crazed neighbors (you'd fit right in jk) but at least its something and it looks pretty; Good luck on your projects!
